Ideas needed for Name Plate Design at home

Hi All

Many of you would have seen attarctive name place designes in Malls ...these are made of ceramic or tile like material but some what expensive

But I would like to do something myself at home...to decorate our home door

Please give me any ideas and tips to execute these

You can even use wood and some paints to make it by your self!!

You can 1) get wood cut to the size you want
2) attach two hooks to hang on nail behind and hooks below the board to hang bells
3) Paint the board
4) Make some figurines with shilpkar to stick on the board
5) paint the name
6) If you want you can stick embellishments like kundan stone

I personally feel shilpkar would do the trick no need for more decoration.
