KHAJUR KA HALWA for Diwali :thumbsupIngredients Khajur (dates - seedless) 100 gm Rava 250 gm Sugar 400 gm Ghee 200 gm (1 cup) Elaichi powder 1 tbsp Honey 2 tbsp Kaju and Kismis 2 tbsp (each) Method • Grind dates with a little milk. • Fry rava with little ghee (keep flame in sim mode) till it turns pinkish. • Heat a non-stick kadhai. Boil two cups of water and add rava in it. Cook for five minutes. • Add ground dates with sugar and stir well. • Pour melted ghee slowly. • When mixture becomes thick, remove from gas and add fried dry fruits, elaichi powder, honey. Hey Tina have you tried Boiled rice Ribbon pakoda. This is very tasty. Soak 1 cup of boiled rice in water and grind it softly as you grind it for idli Then add 1 cup beasan, slat to taste, Chili powder to taste and mix well as you mix for regular ribbon pakoda and deep fry. This is more crispier and tastier than the regular Ribbon pakodas. Have a happy Diwali:thumbsup
