Hi.. I am new to IL... And so I just happen to see your post. I know tamil well enough to read, write and speak and was a school topper in tamil paper in my high school 12th std exam.. I have also won a lot of competitions in speech and writing in my school days(just told this to make sure you are sure that I know enough of the language and not to boast)... Hello Priya , how are you today? I remember a song maybe 20 years ago : "oh Priya, Priya..." I can understand tamil because since my birth my Mum talk to me only in tamil , my Father tal to me in french. But I can't write it.
வ-ண-க்-க-ம்... thats vanakkam... va-na-k-ka-m.... and the letter k in the middle is not pronounced as kay.. but -ik-....Oh ya.. doing great.. was jus busy with my weekend...
