    Dear @Iravati,
IL is a treasure trove as it contains all subjects under the sky, above the sky and in the sky.

It's gravitational power pulls into it's orbit accidental trespassers like @Thyagarajan. I am just joking.

Hearty welcome to IL Mr Thyagarajan. Hope that your contribution to IL will enrich and we will get to read interesting posts from you.

Sorry for digressing from the topic, Iravati.

    Quote Iravati:

Hey! You have no idea. I am a spoiled brat in real life. May be I am cordial and formal here. But I would never type away anything with such sobriety with friends. Mostly I harpoon them with my whims and rants and TNT shots. I can afford that in my life as we are a cool gang and no one takes me serious enough.

That's the main point. True friends will never take anything seriously as they know us in and out in the real world.

Members enjoy your writing here, so be it, don't change anything in your style based on someone else's stint here.

Thank you for your sweet fb.
Members' of IL welcome ramble, rant, and scribbling all alike and give their beautiful feedbacks. That's why I got stuck up here for more than a decade. Yet you now that old age has its perils and that's why I wanted to hit the sack.

Hey! Now don't try to tell me age is only a number. When you reach my age then only you will come to know.

Now lastly I want to tell you don't get scared of people in real world. It all depends only on mutual trust and respect. Believe I bored you enough for now,

Haha! I would never say something as cliched as that. Be assured, such rhetorics never cross my mind. Age though is a number is a very visible number. It isn't an imaginary number in the number line. When someone tells me that age is only a number, I quip o! really! I thought part of alphabet. That's the spoiled brat in me.

I think I do okay in real life or I think so. I err on the side of caution online.

This is your definition of bore, eh? You should really meet me. I will make you realise what bored to the bone really means. I won't shut up my mouth till I am gagged and or I feel hungry which ever happens first. Usually, it is the latter that saves people from imposing punitive measures on me.

This is the best of jokes. I am already used to people who talk nonstop among friend circle as well as relatives.

I would like to meet you personally along with @Cheeniya to watch you both chat, and me watching dumbfounded.

If Cheeniya and I meet in person, our conversation would be like this ..

Ira: You are that hairless and one-fingered dude?
Cheeniya: And you are that godless and three-tongued gal?

(after our initial disappointment is drowned on meeting very plain-looking people)

Ira: What is with that owl?
Cheeniya: Makes me feel fuller on the head.

Cheeniya: What is with girl in glasses?
    Ira: Makes me feel suave.

    Cheeniya: What shall we order?
Ira: We should order one chicken biryani, one mutton pulav, one keema naan, one cheese kofta and one falooda.
Cheeniya: That is a lot of food and I am a vegetarian.
Ira: Nah, that's only for me. You can order what you want.

Cheeniya: So tell me again, are you really the one who writes those tappety tappety posts on philosophical musings?
Ira: Ye! I know I don't look anything remotely like that tappety. But I do look like someone who is damn serious about investigating a donkey.

Cheeniya: Yes, you do look like one who also rode a donkey.
Ira: Avoids parking problem. I am also the one who wrote about Bach and Battista and Battuta.

Cheeniya: What did you say, you work at a Bata showroom?
Ira: No, no , I said I am all that blabbersome ..(and drones for 10 minutes)

Ira: Would you mind if I also order ras malai?
Cheeniya. I am fine as long as it keeps your mouth occupied.

That is the reason we are avoiding each other. It would be a disaster if Cheeniya were to meet me in person.

Bear in mind that the image has no resemblance to Cheeniya. But I had only a minute to scratch something.

    Your,
    Spoiled Brat

    Dear Smt. Srinivasan:

Please include me in the list of Tamil medium students. Is this the same Smt. Srinivasan who educated us interpreting Bhagavad Gita for a prolonged period of time? I know we both are vegetarians but I will still go ahead and say this sales guy's favorite term, "It is the sizzle that sells and not the steak" meaning those who are seated in a steak house always listen to the sizzle of someone ordering a steak and order it for themselves without tasting it.

I can assure you that we can classify the snippets and posts into various categories:

    1) Extraordinary content that is informative
    2) Content that one can easily relate to
    3) Content that is very useful to one's day to day life
    4) Expression of joy or frustration in life
    5) Invaluable response to someone's problem
    6) One that is written with a great command over the English language
    7) Use of unique phrases and style of writing
    8) Abstract presentation of thoughts
    9) Experience sharing
    10) Others

Each one of them above are written for a reason and it is that diversity that makes IL very interesting. The response ILites give to each one of them with equal respect develops the unity among the members.

Please keep writing and many of us like your thoughts and learn from them.

    Viswa

No, there are 127 unique words in your first post in this thread - meaning your vocabulary is demonstrably greater than a 100 words. You lied!:roflmao:

    My dear spoiled brat,
Now I have decided to throw in the towel as I feel it will be a real tough fight to win over a vibrant and sagacious thirty plus youngster in argument.

Enjoyed reading your virtual chat with our dear @Cheeniya and also your hurriedly drawn one minute portrait of Mr Cheeniya sans his flowing beard. Though I have not seen him personally I once saw his photograph.

    @Viswamitra
    Dear Mr Viswa,
How can I include you in the list of Tamil medium students when you have done post graduation or you might be holding even a PhD?

You have classified the snippets under ten catogories. I admire you and also @jayasala42 for both of your analytical and profound thinking and bringing out the subtle meaning when others will only think of the literal meaning.

IL is a treasure trove and the members are blessed and lucky to enrich their knowledge and also the members give their feedbacks to one and all without any discrimination.
