I feel I am losing weight slowly. Weight Chart included. Kindly help.

    Friends, This is how I am losing weight. Today I feel bloated. I didn't indulge myself too much. Yesterday I had puffed rice. Will that be the reason? I wish I could lose one kg per week. How can I do it? Doctor's advice is I have to be only 54 kg. I am on TTC. Can I continue doing exercise? will it affect the chance of fertility??

    I am walking nearly 8 to 10 km per day. Chapathi in the afternoon. Dinner before 8. AGain walking after dinner. Morning 20 to 30 minutes exercise. Again in the evening exercising for 20 to 30 minutes. Why am I losing slowly? Kindly help.

    Congrats for your weight loss .... You have reduced so much in 3 months

    Do u have any specific Health issues ??

    Try changing your workout to see more changes ... Regarding the workout u can include , its better to talk to your doctor as to which workout are Safe to do during TTC

    Thanks for the reply SGA. And Sorry the post should be "I feel I am not losing"... Doctor says I can go for walking all thorughout. She didnt say much regarding exercise. What should I do to reduce more?

    Initially we reduce weight by walking but later we need to add high intensity workout to see result ...With walk we reduce weight but its always slow .... May be 1's in a week need to do aerobic exercises like zumba or workout with weight , but i really dont know if they are safe to do while TTC

    I am exercising as well. But my pace is still very slow. Really couldn't find the reason :(

    To tell you i have not reduced even a gram after doing 30 suryanamaskar , body toning wotkouk and LS walk ...... I feel you are lucky to see changes in scale

    Some reasons for you could be :

    1) If you take stress of not reducing , it will make reducing more difficult as stress hormones are enemy of weight loss ....

    2) May be its time to check your diet ...eating less then 1200 calories take our body to starvation mode which stops weight loss

    3) Weight loss =80% healthy eating + 20 % exercise ...... so no point in doing workout more work out per day ( max should be 90min per day )...

    4) Your metabolism might be slow so you can add food stuff that boost metabolism which in turns help to reduce further

    5) if your weight loss has stop then your body got used to your workout and exercise and we need to change it to see further changes in scale

    6) Health issues ( if any ) slows weight loss

    Are you kidding ??? 8-10km per day isnt it too much ??

    Let us know your entire day diet....

    5.30-Walking - (5 to 5.5 km takes one hour)
    6.45 - Exercise (30 minutes)
    Breakfast - 2 Dosa or 3 idli or a cup of pongal
    May take a cup of fruits or nuts (cashews and almonds) or roasted peanuts
    Lunch - 2 chapathis + 3 spoons of curd rice + vegetables
    Evening - Mosambi Juice
    Walking - 2kms
    Dinner - 2 Dosa or 3 idli
    Walking for 20 min- 30min ( will cover 2 kms)

    Which food will help in increasing the metabolism??

    Can I take peanuts and cashews?

    This is what i feel

    1) you need to eat with 30 min after you get uo to kick start your metabolism ...if possible go for a fruit

    2) I think Cashew is weight increasing , not decreasing ..Almond are fine ...No idea about peanuts

    3) Try to add raw salad for your lunch

    4) Taking juice is bad idea .... we usually use 3 or 4 Mosambi to make juice, more calories ..Try to eat a fruit

    5) can u add green tea ? then have it in evening in place of juice

    6) No idea about how much water u drink but if possible try to add 6 glasses of Hot water

    PS:: Not sure if this changes will work for you or not ....All we can do is try different stuff and see what works for us
