    Dear Sandhya,

Gosh, isnt your MIL a big drama queen.

Just wanted to give my 2 cents with you though about the playschool bit.

Lucky for me, my son didnt cry much when I dropped him off at daycare. He was so excited seeing the other kids and toys and forgot all about me. But what they told us before starting him at daycare was that one of the parents should come and stay with their child, then after an hour go out for about 10 or 15 mins and then come back. Continue it for that day. The following day again come but after an hour, the parent probably goes away for an hour or so and then comes back. Do it for a week increasing the amount of time when the parent "disappears". On the last day you can stay for an hour or so and then go and come back only at the end of the day. So the child realizes that mummy or daddy is going away but will come back in the end.

I read all your posts and realize that you have already started work but if you could try this sort of thing, gradually she will improve. Your daughter has never been away from you or hubby and thus keeps crying but will gradually grow out of it.

Will leave the other issues for experienced Ilites to give an answer to!

    All the best
