Humour On Mirrors

This is a popular story prevailing in China,that later on spread to other nations as well.
It was the period when mirror was imvented for the first time. Nobody had seen the mirror earlier.An old man who got the mirror ,saw his reflection. Without realising it to be his own image, he thought that it was God. He kept the mirror inside a box, worshipped the image secretly & then locked the box.
After a few days his wife noticed and without the old man's knowledge opened the mirror.When she saw the image of an old woman( herself) she became suspicious that her husband had illicit relationship with an old lady. So this must have been going on for long.
She complained about this to her daughter-inlaw.
Daughter-in-law seeing her own image thought that her f.in-law had a relationship with a young girl & her m-in-law was ashamed to tell the fact.
The daughter-in-law immediately informed everything to her husband & showed him the mirror.When he saw the image of a young man he started doubting his wife.Both quarrelled with each other ,the wife becoming more violent.
At that time a Buddha Bikashu came there.The wife started accusing her husband.Buddha bikshu saw inside the mirror his own image. He consoled the girl saying"the poor young girl,knowing that everything had come to light,felt ashamed and had tonsured her head. & that she might not be a hindrance to their life.
Not being satisfied, the wife threw away the mirror which broke into pieces. A little child took away a piece and seeing the reflection said"there is a child".Everybody realised the truth.
This story is popular in all the nations.Any invention is a mystery .There is humour behind many such inventions.
Reflection produces various refections in our mind.
