    Are you sure you are not over-reacting? perhaps its a genuine mistake. in the office i am with, farewell lunch is actually bought by us. i.e we pay for the person leaving, not the other way round.
    As for her not offering the money back to you, it was not very gracious of her. She should have offered to payback. That is the socially accepted courtesy.
    In our group of work colleagues, the 3 of us go out for lunch every friday. It is mutual understanding that one person pays this time and the next time the other does. But the first time we went, we all wanted to pay each other back.
