    Don't worry, its a phase of life.every mom with a daughter faces it.

    Here in US they teach the family life education in the elementary itself.
    When my DD was in 4th grade they conducted a preliminary class to the girls with their Moms.That was the first time she came to know about the periods.
    After the class she asked me so many related questions and cried to vent it out. In 5th grade they scientifically explained the entire thing. This time it was without Moms. When I asked her about the presentation, she took a science class with all the egg and sperm things information.
    What I felt was they made the parents` job easier at this stage.
