how to start learning crochet? Please advise

dear ladies, i am planning to start a new hobby as i want to keep myself busy.. i am very much interested in learning crochet.. all you ladies out there, who know crochet, kindly tell me how should i go about learning crochet..i also need to know where to buy crochet materials near marthahalli bangalore.. please please advise..thanks a lot in advance

crochet work is a very good hobby.i am also a beginer but through net i have completed baby sweater,booties and baby cap.there are many sites for crochet.

Hi chinnari12,

I too started learning crochet some months back...am still learning :-D.

From a friend, I got to do the beginning chain stitch..and from there it has been from the Net all way. go through the links given my visala, and explore more tutorials. There are a lots.
Am sure, you too will be addicted :biggrin2:

you can try the quarterly magazine needle n thread from coats this is good for new learners it will cost approx. 275/ per year and hope you try it believe me its not that difficult and i learnt from this only
