how to seperate steel drinking glasses?

    Hi,
    I have 2 steel drinking glasses of the same size and shape that are stuck into each other and refuse to get a divorce! I tried this tip, but dint work for me i.e filling the inner glass with cold water and placing it in a bath of hot water.

    It would be great if anyone could give a tip on how to separate them.

    Same problem happened last week.I did it this way.

    Fill a container with few glasses of water.Bring it to boil.Put the tumblers in it.Let it boil for few more minutes.Try it and tell the result.

    Hold the stuck tumblers with a tong (idukki) and show them over a flame for a few seconds. When the outer one gets heated, it will expand and give way for the inner tumbler to move out. Pull the inner tumbler with another idukki (tong). Hope this will be of help to you.

    I have 3 steel plates clinged to each other and not allowing for a seperation. Pls help.
