How To Remove Bitter Taste From Besan Chilla

    The Besan Chilla, I make, always has a bitter taste. I dont add Methi or fenugreek. Just Besan Flour, Curd, Onion, Tomato, Capsicum, Jeera, Salt, Sambar Powder. But the Chilla always comes out tasting bitter. How to fix this.

    Which besan brand do u use ?
    I too make chillas a lot....but they're always delicious..
    Try adding ajwain..

    I buy local store brand. May be I will try a different brand. Also swap jeera with ajwain.

    Sometimes local stores add..makki ka atta or soyabean flour to besan...
    Brands like Rajdhani and Pan are trustworthy..
