How to pick a good pediatric dentist

    Hi all,
    On a recent India trip my dentist mentioned that my dd (almost 4) has cavities in 2 of her teeth ( i think due to drinking milk with straw). I was advised to take her to a pediatric dentist where they would give her anaesthesia and treat it.

    Any advise on how to pick out a good pediatric dentist?

    i think you should ask the people about their experience with pedodontist in your area .
    also take into consideration , how cooperative your dd is with different kind of people ( eg . males ,females , old people or young people ).

    Beeamma, usually the pediatricians can make good recommendations - mine did and I have not regretted it my OBG directed me to my ped, my ped directed me to my kids' dentis - it is usually a person they know or they go to. I would personally choose that route.
