after cutting d fabric m getting such shapes only bt i m nt getting how to join d belt as after joinin d crothches if forms a v-shape so how to atttach a belt

Kajola,

Please take the gathers along the red line that I have shown. Then attach it to the belt. In this type of salwar, the gathers will be falling on the outer side of the leg..

Please try it.

Yes Sabari.... Its me. Don't pinch yourself, you will hurt yourself.
Past few months I am working again and hence just been glancing through the forum.

In fact I have pictures of some of my creations which I want to post but have not been able to spend that much time. Will do shortly.

help with complicated necklines

Hi to all, this is such a wonderfull site, looking through forum has inspired me to start some new sewing projects. But for a while ive had trouble thinking of new and interesting necklines. Im mostly self taught, i can do the simple turn over necks but im bored, can anyone please give me some tips/diagrams ect i love the necks with piping / contrasting colours / weaving / tie lace . It would be a great help, please inspire me!

:help I know how to sew straight piping (the one you turn out thats hollow). after seeing kameezes that have been made in India, with really thin piping, im wondering if theres another teqnique for making it verry thin.

It would be really great if anyone could give me some pointers...love these...
