How to lose 5kgs wt and reduce waist size?

    I would like to lose 5kgs of weight and reduce my waist size to 2inches minimum. I do walking for 20 mins 5 days a week, but still its not helping enough.

    Please suggest some ways....desperately looking for your suggestions.

    Iam in race of losing 5 kg but losing only 1-2 kg in a month ... if you want to be my buddy iam happy we could share our daily routine and exchange some advise
    Here is how i lost 6 kgs in 4 month time :-

    1. Reduced the dinner plate size
    2. 30 mins various excercise (except during period time )
    3. Eat heavy breakfast and light lunch

    Hi,

    I would like to joing you people...

    I try to reduce my weight.. but not able to :( there is no change in my weight for past so many months...

    My routine..

    Everyday morning and evening 20 min brisk walk.
    Good breakfast(Cornflakes, idly, dosa)
    Lunch(Chapathi, rice, and dal..)
    Dinner ( 2 chapathi and some curry)
    I drink 2 glass of milk per day...

    Sometimes out of control eat some snacks :(

    Please suggest me what to do

    Slowly increase your time to 45 mins of walking then slowly increase your speed to jogging it should shift the weight and drink 2L of water a day

    But when is the best time for jogging???
    Is it ideal to do jog in the evening??

    Hi dear,
    the best way to lose weight is exercise and eat healthy, eat everything but in small portions, have a light dinner, include lots of fruits in your diet and water. have protiens everyday.
    Join a gym do aerobics or zumba, by doing zumba you will lose weight fast and your waist will become good as well.
    reduce your carbs at night, if having 2 chappatis at night have one.
    hope this helps. Exercising any time of hte day is good but be consistent, if you are walking do brisk walking not leisure walking.

    blessbaby,

    me too have reduced my dinner and lunch quantity...taking more water. have to patiently wait to reduce weight.Are you going to gym?I cant go to gym on working days and most of the gyms in my surrounding doesnt allow workout on weekends.But im determined to put down my weight....share any tips you know.

    I joined gym but cudnt go for more than a week.. and i discontinued, But following stict diet.. i lost 3 kgs in a month,...

    I didnt go to gym as iam working and have a 13 months baby so difficult to go gym but strict on diet and exercise :-

    Next month iam planning to do raw diet for quick loss and will slowly introduce my body to normal food and will continue on excercise routine .My aim is to reach 50kgs before april 2012.
    For this month iam preparing my body for the raw diet plan.
