I have been inspired by some very useful threads here regarding malayalam and got subscribed. I am a malayali from across the west border and finding much difficulty in getting a thorough start to learn the language. Around me, i feel around 30 - 40 % of the relatives can speak malayalam and they can speak regularly but the people at my home could hardly speak such. I want to accelerate the learning process as i feel we are losing our identity as such and many of us cant even speak a handful of sentences. Some sites are really useful but are with very limited free stuffs. First of all, i need some materials with phonetic and transliteration aids, especially if there are some such materials for kids for primary section in kerala. it wud be so good to have that. Other than that......simply all the stuffs to learn and go on..., Every response will be highly appreciated...
