How To Handle 15 Months Old Baby Separated Temporarily From Mom?

3. My mil took care of food responsibilities for my daughter. My husband took her of her bathing, feeding food, taking her to play area and putting her to sleep. She Coslepwt with my husband and he adjusted his work schedule to spend maximum time with our daughter

Kids are very smart and adapt easily. One week will fly in no time. I was very worried about my trip but my daughter adjusted really well and she even went with my husband to meet my parents as my father was celebrating his 70th bday.

All are good suggestions, however, I would suggest you trying Skype before your DIL leaves. My kids (I have left them with my husband for up to one week at around 15-18 months) would be more upset if they see me on Skype and I am not there to hold. It might be possible because they are not used to TV or any screen since we are against screen time at young age.
Talking about the upcoming trip will help. Don't worry about bringing a lot of toys, he would be excited to see his mom.
For night time feedings, you might be surprised that he won't ask but be prepared and start giving bottle/ sippy cup now.

Hi nuss, Sorry for the late reply.I was out of town for the last few days.
Thank you for sharing your experience and providing us good tips.

Regarding Skype calls, we were also thinking of doing it. But we thought that it will create more problems. It seems that it helped in your case. We will go with your suggestion.
