How To Get Back Into Shape/reduce Tummy After C Section. Tips Pls..

    Hi all please give me tips on how to get back into shape after c section. I have big tummy and dunno how to reduce it. Will c section belts be effective? Successful ladies, Pls share ur tips and experiences. Thanks you all.

    I too had that. I lost some weight by normal diet control and exercise and tummy reduced by that only.

    I have had two c- sections. Both the time I reduced weight and came back to pre pregnancy weigh in just 6-7 months. I do not have that pooch that comes out after delivery because of genetic reasons and also because I am tall.
    I did not consciously tried to loose weight but I think its breastfeeding that worked in my favour. Not sure if you are feeding your baby but if you are , you will definitely see some results in seven eight months. Other than that I move around a lot. Do a lot of household chores. Take both my kids to the park daily and walk for good one hour with my younger one.
    You cannot neglect the importance of laddoos after delivery. Please have them and don't cut down on your diet if you r breastfeeding but try to take less sugar , ghee and say no to rice, fried food etc. All these small small things do help. Have a lot of water too.

    Hi wishing happy pongal to all
    I had my 2 nd c section last September
    On the process of weight loss journey.
    My tips which is working for me is
    1.drink loads of water
    2.eat garlic which is boiled in milk so that your milk supply will not be affected
    3.walking at least 30 min(if don't have time around home you can go)
    4.eat lots of veg and fruit first then have rice so that you are full
    5.pelvic bridge exercise will help.
