How to fall asleep immediately?

    According to some study, the cause of sleepless nights or insomnia is over-thinking. Of course until unless you are ill or something.
    So it's better not to over think. Praying before sleeping helps me relax.

    Have stomach full dinner and read a boring book... you will fall to sleep

    I spend sleepless nights very often. Obvious reasons....stress and worries. Certain problems in life cannot be expressed at all. So it suffocates me a lot. It all started after my parents passed away. I tried reading some books at bed time, good workout, drinking hot milk and these worked for me. Nowadays, I am not consistant in practicing this and hence still sleepless nights continue.
    I am glad to know that you are getting better now. Wish you a stress free life and good health for your DD.

    i donno y but even i am not able to sleep in the night...i will be trying to sleep on the bed by 11 pm...i will be trying till 1 am. I cannot try more than that. Then i will open my laptop and start browsing and my browsing is like never ending. I fall asleep in the morning that is around 3-4 am. I read many things in the web that sleep is very important as it is the only time where our body gets rid of all the toxins.

    Less physical activity during the day also can cause insomnia at night.
    Exercise and exposure to sun tend to reduce insomnia.
