How do you all get the baggage weight checked while travelling by air? Either domestic or international? I know that if it is just a few kilos, then it would be in the permissible limit but when we travel with lot of luggage say, 2 check-ins each with permitted weight of 20 kgs, then how do you manage the packaging. What weighing instruments do you get at home?

Any info of availability of such machines in Hyderabad would be of great help.

    Hi coolsandy
i use a normal weighing scale. It is called bathroom scale and is available at most medical shops. I usually split clothes and other stuff between the suitcases. Usually clothes are not heavy. They just take space so u could also hand carry them in the 7 kg allowance.

Luggage depends on ur purpose of travel. No frill airlines which charge for baggage might not give u concession on even 2 kilos. Depends on the airlines and if it is full on that day.
