My husband has never been romantic, but he is trying. This year, he actually asked what I wanted to do. After the previous 3 years of duds, I couldn't really think of what to do, to make the day a little more special, without breaking the bank. I decided on going to the movie theater, because I love the movies. How do you and your spouse enjoy the day/weekend?
Last year was my 1st valentine aftwr marriage. Though I don't believe in just celebrating love on one day, yet I take the valentines day as a day to be more expressive of our love to our spouse and make them feel wanted and special. But my husband is unromantic as would the 90% of the husbands in the world lol. He just got a dairy milk sweet last year and wished happy valentines day. This year we are going through rough patch in marriage life...not on talking terms so no celebrations. But I'm missing him :'(
He picks up chocolate for me and him to eat. This is it. I usually celebrate V day the way I have when I was single. Go shopping day after V day and buy candy on sale & lotions on sale. Last year in month of February, not sure when, we both got sneakers in effort to lose weight, it was our mini-vday gift but it wasn't on Vday.
