I was able to slim the sides.

Unfortunately fixing the shoulders was a train-wreck (now I learn the hard way, I need to take-in the shoulders)

When I tried to sew along the thread seams, it was crooked and I couldn't put on the shirt. However when I tried removing the threads it made a nice hole on the shoulder area.

How to darn this hole so that it is not noticeable?

Sew a embroidery around both side . It will look good. Try ladder stitch by hand and do embroidery work around it.

    google Pattern darning :)
it's a type of embroidery specifically for darning denims and jeans .
if you can darn it in a leaf like pattern, with a thread close to the denim color . it can be passed off as a stand alone applique work !!

I will research ladder stitch and embroidery like a leaf pattern. I love flowers and stuff.

    Open to other creative ideas......

you could actually do an applique work. of may be an embroidered patch of a say.. umm bunch of buds or rose blooms or small sprig of a flowery climber .. then can stitch it on the torn part
