Honey, you have no one to blame but yourselves for indulging and pampering your brother all these years, he is just plain self-centered and selfish. Believe me I have relatives who did the same for their sons who were just chasing shadows trying to set up businesses which failed, but they took loans from the PF and even liquidated their savings, now they are living hand to mouth on a pittance, by the way there is no talk of repaying all the money the sons squandered! It's a cruel world.
Stop all the support, let your brother paddle his own canoe from now on. Let him marry who he wants and live his own life, he will come to his senses, if at all.
