    My 2 cents.
    1. If u have credit cards, please pay off ur outstanding and treat ur CC has died, live only with debit card, this way the first 3 months might be very difficult but ull be amused to know how much u have been spending without thinking.

    2. If u do have the older bulbs(yellow ones at home) please throw them away and use the CFL tubes, they save electricity by 80%

    3. Make a note of the regular expenditure details(including emergency/miscellaneous).
Emergency can be accumulated jus one time, open a SIP or RD on 2nd of every month to route the extra money, dis way u don have money to spend upon.

    4. Go for plastic bags only wen needed, often seen people buying garbage bags with high price, always carry a cloth bag n use it while shopping.. as one plastic bag costs 4 Rs per shopping and even if u take that u buy veggies weekly, 4x4x12 192 Rs is spent jus for plastic bags...

    5. Try using public transport if possible, dat saves fuel cost

6.. Last but not the least, maintain everything u buy.. nevere ever overlook and feel for spending for a repair. A thing maintained properly lasts more and has a greater lifetime.

Lastly, no size fits all. All my points need not be applicable for everyone. All the best for Saving. :)
