Dear Malar, It takes 1 hr. to Tanjore and another 45 mits. to Kumbakonam from Trichy. You will have all veg. items nearby but for Puliyodharai you will have to go to Srirangam Temple. kaverivenkat
Hi, Welcome to my hometown and I had a week nice trip on last year. Nowadays, Serviced Apartment facility is also available in Trichy. One of the facility is located very near to srirangam and their service is a complete package from airport pick-up, accomodation, sight seeing and airport drop.

Re: trichy - where to eat (vegetarian) - recommendations please Welcome to Trichy... you can try out sangeetha's restraunt in trichy junction close to railways station..there is no specific item as "must eat" you can shop well in mainguard gate since aadi sale is going on..dont miss " Rockfort, srirangam, thiruvanaikoil " Happy shopping n enjoy ur stay in trichy.
