Instead of soaking vessel in water. you can wet the vessel completely in water and turn it upside down. This will help in removing the strains easily and you can use minimum of precious water.

 

One more thin wile cleaning sinks. We usually forget to clean the taps and sink base.

Leaving those uncleaned will make the sink to look half cleaned. So just take few minutes and clean these too.

 

If the food has spilled over the oven and burns there, just sprinkle a handful of salt on the mess. The smoke will be reduced and the spill easier to clean after the oven cools.
