Hi all need a buddy to lose weight by juice fasting? anyone interested??

    Hey everyone swati dis side..

    Actually its my sister's wedding on 9 december n i wna luk noticeably slim..
    I hav tried various diets.. and while luking fr sm more diets i came across this Juice Fasting diet .. It claims a weight loss of almst 7 lbs which is abt 3 kgs in 7 days even more than that in some cases...
    here are the details..
    You can have any sort of fruits vegetable juice..
    How it works

    During a juice fast, we consume only fresh vegetable and fruit juice – no food. Because caloric intake is reduced during a fast, fat cells are used as fuel causing us to lose fat and weight. The digestive system requires less energy to work and the extra energy is used to help the body cleanse, repair and renew itself.

    Balanced metabolism

    The longer we fast, the slower our metabolism becomes. Slower metabolism as a result of juice fasting is a positive thing. As the body cleanses it digests food more effectively which means we need to eat fewer calories. A slower, more efficient metabolism prolongs life by reducing degeneration that leads to aging.

    Healthier cravings

    Juice fasting cleanses the colon, which in turn helps us better absorb nutrients from our food. As this continues, we naturally crave healthier foods over foods with little or no nutritional value.

    How to fast

    Reduce or stop using caffeine, nicotine, sugar, dairy, wheat, meat, fish and eggs a few days before your fast. This will help your body prepare for fasting and reduce any side effects that may occur.
    A juice fast can last 1-7 days. During the fast, you should drink 1-2 liters of fresh vegetable, sprout and grass juice, ideally juiced just before drinking. Limit fruits and sugary vegetables such as carrots or beets which will slow weight loss. Avoid oranges because they are high in acidic sugar. The juice can be diluted with up to 40% water.
    You should also drink 1-2 liters of water per day while fasting.
    After the fast you can gradually return to eating solids.
    Doing a juice fast one day a week is ideal for maintaining health and weight or gradual weight loss. If you do this for 7 years you will have given your body a break for an entire year!
    You can also do a program at a detox center if you want to fast for longer than 7 days or want to fast under the guidance of specialists.

    Who should not do a juice fast
    Pregnant or nursing women or children should not do a juice fast. People with any kind of chronic condition or those taking prescription medications should only do a juice fast after consulting with their doctor. A juice fast should not be done before or after surgical procedures.

    Recipes

    Cucumber and Celery – juice 70% cucumber and 30% celery. A handful of greens such as parsley or spinach may be added. Cucumber helps flush out kidneys while cucumber and celery’s combination of potassium and sodium help cleanse cells and give a good electrolyte balance.
    Fat Burner – juice 30% each of tomato, celery and red pepper, 1 handful parsley, 1 clove garlic and fresh chili or black pepper. This tasty blend helps the liver cleanse and speeds the metabolism of stored fat.

    Try 1 day fruit diet and rest all days maintain it with healthy food .....If you eat less for 7 days , your body will get use to eating less and when you have your normal food , you will gain all the weight

    Its always advisable to eat fruit rather than juice .... Compare Calories in 1 orange and orange juice,.For juice you will be using at least 3 oranges .....So having fruit provides more benefits and less calories
