Help to open account in maryland

Hi ILs,
i want to open a bank account in here US. but im house wife and i dont have ssn . is possible here?

then like i want to open library account!!!!

Yes you can open an account in bank. u dont need ssn for opening bank account. They will just need you passport and your h4 visa copy.
For library also you will have to pay some fee to register and use services, if its private library, if its a state library, you can use your husband's id card to borrow books, as for him library services are free.

yes you can open in any bank !! Open in the one nearest to you so u have convenience or the one in which you have your husband's account !! If you choose to manage your account electronically and dont ask for hard copy statement to be sent to you every month but just an electronic copy, they dont even charge you any fee, its free of charge !!
