Library, gym with a trainer and swimming, doing some courses to get a job whenever u will get work permit, planning for a baby as later u may not get time much to spend time, start new hobbies like vegetables gardening , photography , make friends from park or library, call them for lunch or tea outside or at home
And if u don't drive , first thing is to get the driver license

 

If cooking is ur passion u can do blogging with nice photography,
There are so many out there to inspire you

Only "work for paycheck " u can't do on h4. Everything else u can do.

Trust me , once u start doing some hobby , u don't find 24 hours per day enough.

Even u can try yoga, meditation , spirituality stuff or music where there is no end to seek

I have been thru this episode along while ago and i know how it feels.
But you have think & take things in a positive way and move on ahead.
I wish in India before coming to US on H4 visa people must be aware of that visa status but sadly very less people realize only after they come to US.
Few days ago, I was reading online on H4 that they can work after some time, to me that's a great news its an wonderful opportunity.
First things first you are driving that's great otherwise first start learning driving it will give you self independence mobility wise very useful.
First option you can do H1 visa you can start working or student visa. If you think that's not possible and there are so many things you can do in US.
you can go to community school or take online courses and get certified.
if you're interested in writing there are many free websites for writing blogs.
Also you can use talents that you have like music, singing, dance,crochet or computers, science education wise math tutoring for free to those who are in need that will be a wonderful too.
the rewards will pay you off for sure.
I agree, there will be some boredom but you can definitely overcome by utilizing your time.
