    Hi..
I live in USA and I have experienced hair fall too. It’s now under control, I got a shower filter installed as we have no access to soft water and stopped using soaps and shampoos that are loaded with chemicals. My hair is more manageable and looks healthy now, I use soapnuts/shikakai or tamarind pulp for head bath. My skin is much softer as I use green gram powder as soap and olive oil as moisturizer.

Check these ayurvedic hair care remedies given by famous ayurvedic specialists.I follow these based on my need and availability of ingredients.

Please don’t use the herbal hair oil and shampoos found in Indian stores, they contain harmful ingredients. Best to stick to home made herbal oil and shampoos or buy these from an authentic Ayurvedic store such as Dr Elchuris store in Hyderabad. I had reaped benefits by using home made hibiscus hair oil, lemon hair oil and tamarind shampoo (recipes are given in the above mentioned post)

You could also try purchasing home made herbal hair oil from MABH Fast Growth Hair Oil {Buy Online} - Makeup And Beauty Home

    Hope this helps,

I too experienced severe hairfall earlier. I thought its because of water and food intake. After i started using Hibiscus oil there was much relief. I am using Allwell manufactured Mandara oil but i dont think its available in US. You can try out hisbiscus oil. it really helps

I always use organic products for my hair. I had bought KELAPA COCONUT OIL SHAMPOO from QNhealth. This website provides only organic products that are not harmful. Using this product has helped to prevent hair loss and make hair soft and silky. I am using this product for last 8 months and I am already in love with it. You can also try this shampoo. Coconut shampoo is known for strengthening hair and to make it silky. I had recommended this shampoo to my friend also. This has helped me as well as my friends to get rid of this problem.

I've been using argan oil after shampooing and applied to damp hair before blow drying (on cool) & I have much less hair loss - I use either Pro-Naturals argan oil or Karmin heat protection & shining spray, I get them online. I sometimes rub vitamin E oil on roots but this tends to make my hair oily!

Use a milder shampoo.Stop using a conditioner as the hair comes in direct contact with the chemical in undiluted form.
Consider taking taking vitamin tablet which has zinc as a predominant combination.
Sometimes this might subside on its own inspite of following many measures.
