    good tips. would like to add some more.

    do not eat whenever you are not hungry. also do not skip whenever you are hungry.

    have a fruit everyday. preferably with food and that too before having food. this will make you eat less and also makes you eat healthy. if you eat after food u may over eat the food whatever u are eating. also u may sometimes avoid taking fruits. when u eat fruits there is no oil, no fat, no sugar, etc. some fruits may have sugar and fat content but not much as sweets and other stuffs what we r eating. so fruits are not only healthy snacks also healthy food.

    those who likes sweet and want to have sweet go for dates. the best sweet which gives plenty of iron and fiber. no need to cook at all. it reduces ur work, temptation, also ur weight:)
