    Great mind set...
Now a days world is developing so much that this feeling of 2 girls or girl after a girl is almost gone..
Infact parents are more happy with girls i think!!!!

I too have a dd and ds and the age gap between them is 4 years. But after my dd was born , and when I was pregnant for the second time, I wished to have a boy because I really wanted to experience the upbringing of bothe the genders.Only at the end of the 8 the month I came to know that it was a boy and obviously my parents and inlaws were happy.

Like Shanthiji said, I don't have any difference in sharing my love and assets to both of them because both are my kids and We love them equally.

    hi,
i have a DD who is 4 yrs and DS 2yrs of age.
i was came to know that i have thyroid problem in my 4th month. i had health problems and i was praying for a healthy kid thats it. And i am gifted with a healthy DS. neither me nor my DH are keen on gender of the child.

but my co-sis has two sons and they feel soooooooooooo proud and high of it. my husband says they would have felt still high if we has both daughters.

does that really matter... for us (mother) they are our kids. My DD is 3 yrs old and my son is 11 months old. I am too busy to take care that they don't fight, share there toys and have good diets, nothing else comes in my mind :)

Pressure is there for having a boy after a girl. Most families think that way. I have only one DD and dont intend to have another one because we had planned to have only one kid from beginning. Girl or boy, I think for a mother both are same. Atleast, I thought so but I have felt a strange sense of pride in some women with sons. Maybe, they feel they will be taken care of in their old age :) I love my DD and am proud of her and so is my DH. She rules our hearts and lives. Boy or girl, we should try to be good parents and provide them with love and affection. I personally feel that girls are more attached to family but am sure I would feel the same love if I had a boy.
