I understand the argument, but it's stress now or stress later. Either way, you will be stressed when you have to be the sole breadwinner of the family. Even with his supplement income from wal-mart, you will have to continue working for insurance for you and the baby, at least.
That's a really good amount of time that you can take off and spend time during ovulation with your husband. Why not try that for the 6 months?
Pls ask your husband to take job. Soon you can find another job near his city. Because having a child and being sole bread winner will definitely cause drift in family. You will be more stressed out, won't be able to spend quality time with kid. Sometimes you may crave for taking leave to be with kid not alone kid's sick days. Pls take a wise decision. Getting job in H1b became finding a unicorn.
OP, its a difficult choice to make. You would need money if you plan to seek fertility treatments, for which your husband might have to acct the pffer. But then, you need to live together to have a kid. Please assess your financials and then arrive at a decision after having a discussion with your husband.
Op, As you mentioned you have no much reserve in your ovaries and your biological condition isn't help ful. You have 2 options.... 1) Going for IVF or YOU 2) Adopting a kid (my favourite option) Both of them need you to have a cash reserve. 2nd option would cost less and is philanthropic in all ways possible. Try it only if you feel like doing it. For any of this to happen you need cash for which you need to continue your job. Having a baby is a tough costly affair for your present scenario. So I suggest you to go for your job first of you want babies and them having a peaceful childhood.
