Has anyone tried hsg?

    I have tried clomid and metformin for the past 5 months.I m moving to injectibles next month.my doctor aslso scheduled me for an hsg on 7th day.I have heard that hsg increases chance of pregnancy..Is it true?Does hsg hurt much?Would like to see bfp next month

    Yes.. HSG increases pregnancy chances.. It is not only diagnostic but also therapeutic in releasing micro spasms in the tube and in case of small blocks also will be cleared..
    there will be mild pain during the procedure

    hi , HSG is used to check the blocks in the tube. It is said that it checks and as well clears the mild blockage if any.hence chances of conception are high after it. All the best for that.

    Its a maximum of 10mins process and pain will be like cramps from periods. Keep yourself as relaxed as possible. Pain goes away after the process is over. All the best!

    on what day your periods turnd up after stopping progesterone ?
    did you talk to doc abt taking them without advise ( i read ur posts :) )

    Actually I didnt get periods for 6 days after stopping susten.Doctor told me to use regestrone 5 mg for 2 days.I have already been on regestrone.I get period 4 days after stopping regestrone.Hoping hsg would solve all probs:)A bit of relief that I could share my feelings with someone at last:)
