Harmless activities that can be done with in-laws!

i would bring her to shopping!! she loves shopping in high end places. but i'll make sure she get the money from her dh. i cant afford her spending.
or i can also bring her to visit her sisters.
but in real case, i usually spend the weekend with her only at home. my dh works on shift and he seldom gets off on weekends. we will cook together, then i will do the cleaning. not a big deal.

 

i'll go shopping and she will got to temple... Simple... Yayy!!

 

I will invite her relatives, cousins and friends (we do have some common family friends too). Once every one started coming over, either I or she will have to be busy in the kitchen with the maid to make/serve tea and snacks.

Also, she and I will be busy with talking to the guests, and time will fly just like that... Main point is that I don't have to talk to her directly or listen to her $&****% 24/7.

Other idea is to take her to her temple... Even though I don't pray there.. I can spend some quality time in looking around or in silence while she is observing her prayers and then chatting with her on-the-spot friends at the temple. The point is the transportation time, temple time and chatting time will somehow make me pass that evening. Also both will be tired after the temple trip; hence go to bed early.

 

May be send them to some relative's place for a visit or may be ask ur FIL to take ur MIL for a movie date! Yes, u book the tickets for them for ur peace of mind! :rotfl

 

1 .Get some DVDs - old and new movies. Order food from outside.They watch movies and I read my books
2.Finish pending office work during their sleep time/ chat time.
3.Ask friends to call and talk for long hours.

 

not a bad idea. If MIL/FIL doesnt watch movie. then???
