FB has become more like a show off place these days (atleast for my Indian friends I should say).People love posting glamorous pictures over there and the status place has become like a show off place to post anything.The status would say "Just back from a lovely dinner" or "what a lovely day" blah blah...but in reality , when we talk to them there might be a sharp contrast to what was posted.Even I saw the status msg OP had posted getting circulated a while ago.And I know quiet a few out there with marital problems(some cases like hubby with EMA too..) posted the msg in status.I do not give value to the FB statuses as it has become more like prestige issue and show off for a lot.

On contrary, I feel people who come to IL are genuine as the anonymity is maintained and certain level of security is maintained.JMO.
