Hairfall Without Realizing It?

    It is possible to have hairfall without realizing it (till it's too late, of course)

    For past several weeks my Dad always find my hairs on the bottom of his slippers. We have carpet in the house.

    To me, my hair amount looks normal, and I suggested it may be my Mom (who started growing her pixie haircut for past year or two).


    Before I wash hair I apply amla oil to scalp several hours (even overnight) before washing. I wash hair 3 times a week with Sulfate-free shampoo

    Here is my usual routine ..... should I eat egg more days of week?


    Wakeup

    1. Sleep 8 hours (or more)
    2. 16 oz first thing in morning (with Synthroid 100 mcg)

    Breakfast
    3. Fruits for breakfast
    4. Either fried egg on whole wheat toast and chutney spread (3 days) OR Cottage cheese on whole wheat toast and chutney spread (4 days)
    5. Tea

    Two hours after Breakfast
    5. Nuts and 16 oz water

    Lunch
    6. Peanut Butter sandwich (on whole wheat) and Starbucks tall pike coffee, with little half-half

    One hour after Lunch
    7. Whole-milk yougart

    Two hours after Lunch
    8. Tea

    Three hour after Lunch
    9. Fruit Juice

    Dinner
    10. Salad
    11. 3 to 6 oz chicken with mixed vegatables subji. One tablespoon yougart with whole wheat bread

    Dessert
    12. Few pieces of fruit from breakfast
    13. Milk with turmeric, cinnamon, cocao

    If possible 30 min exercise

    :hello:thanks. I heard sirasasanam done for about few minutes in the early morning on daily basis produces phenomenol results.
    2. a news item in The Hindu of today (7th Feb 2017) claims Japanese had discovered a revolutionary method by which follicles for growth of new hair increases by 100 times. but alas this test in lab with some animal. something interesting for all concerned about their pate.

    I read somewhere that it’s normal to lose 100 strands of hair everyday . So if you notice it only beneath dad’s slippers that’s fine I think.

    If your progressive hair loss is taken care then a proper diet follow likes Dark green leafy vegetables, nuts, eggs, fish like mackerel and salmon, whole grains, carrots, kidney beans and the like are rich in protein. Protein helps strengthen hair follicles.

    I upped the number of eggs I eat per week. And sprinkling more nuts where possible.

    :hello:I take it that you are less than forty enjoying otherwise robust health. In cases of persons having high BP, obesity, soft bones etc this SHOULD be avoided.
