You can apply style gel and straighten your hair by blow drying it.......

Mals : even when i apply gel and straighten hair with blow dryer, it does not stand straight forever meaning after 1 day. my hair is very frizzy too. can u suggest something for me

It is meant to last for a day only, not more than that. For a longer duration you have to go the parlour and get it done..

Thanku very much for sharing such a useful site for straiting hair.But i didnt understand wht he has sprayed b4 using hair dryier can any one mention it plz.Is it water ,wht is meant by styling product i dont know.

You style gels in decent shopping malls or good shops. They are washable products and do not harm the hair. But its only for a temporary setting. You cannot expect to have a long term effect.

Hair Straightening : Bad for hair?

I have a question for you people...Does straightening your hair with straightner effect your hair in a bad way? I hav no idea..I never used it before but I am using the straightner and a bit concerned

using it once in a way is fine but on a regular basis isnt gud it dries up ur hair if u want straight hair and if ur hair is wavy or curly better opt for chemical hair straigthening which is better and is done once in 5-6 months rather than heat straighteing either by straight blow dry or ceramic straightner

I've done it twice...wel,l these are the consequences

Positive-

1. You & your hair will look ravishing!
2. soft, silky (esp.. long hair) untangled...definitely one can't help without touching it!
3. You will look neat...
4.It will increase your confidence level
5. Be'cos ,it's straight...ur hair will look long & lengthy

Negative...

Now coming to the reality aspect!

1. Yes, as jothyi said the hair will be dry!
2. one has to apply conditioner regularly to make it soft
3. better do it once in 8 months
4.Remember, After one year the hair will be back to normal ( wavy & curly)
5. Experience hair fall.
