    Dear Pranee,
I dint go for branded as they give me backache so I got my bed made..

This is my expereince of getting cotton mattress amde :
    1. I learnt there are different types of cotton n some are real good you can tell them by seeing it..
2...make sure the cotton is not dirty
    3. It doesnt have seed pods ie it is cleaned thoroughly...

Finally the cover should be good I got even mattress protecter stitched too...

I have some tips, can help you -
Go for research before shopping. Take your doctor with you to help to find the suitable mattress for you.

Dear ILs, i have the same question about a mattress. We have been using Posturepedic mattress from Sealy from the last couple of years and it started to create back problems for me from the last couple of months.
We do the usual rotation of mattress every 3-4 months. It still has not helped me.
Now i am looking for a firm mattress or Japanese Futon ( ideally) which we, in turn, will keep over a flat surface wooden bedframe. Can anyone here please share your recommendations?

    Thanks in advance.

    xoxo,

Try Tuft 'n Needle, Casper, Saatva or Leesa mattresses. All of them offer a hassle-free alternative to the traditional mattress market. Saatva has the most options when it comes to firmness. I have Casper mattresses at home and they are moderately firm. All four companies allow you to try the mattresses at home for three to four months at full refund. They will even come and take away the mattress if you don't like it.

This website has a great comparison of the various options.
