we had a grihapravesh Pooja at our house. The priest asked us to donate all the Pooja materials, including rice, navadhanya etc. to him. should we also give him the coconuts used for the Pooja? We broke 3 other coconuts and pumpkins at the doors, which we threw away. I’m asking this question because in the past Poojas other priests asked us to keep the coconut and use it for making a sweet dish. Can anyone guide me on the right procedure?
