Green color stool for 8 month baby

Hi,

My DD stool is green in color. 10 days back it was in dark green so I went to pediatrician in India. She gave pre and probiotic packet for 3 days and zinc dry powder.

Now also her poop is greenish yellow color. Is anything to worry?

What food can I give to her?

please advice.

Is your DD on formula? It happened with my DD when she was on formula. We gave vasambu and it got solved immediately.

Hi - This happens to the baby if there is infection in stomach. ZINC dry powder you need to give for continuous 14 days. Its good one and no side effects.

It happened to my baby too and since it was not reduced, doctor advised to give econorm[saccharomyces boulardii 250 mg] just mix this powder with little warm water and give. Very effective Twice daily or as per advice from doctor. Each sachet cost 34 rs.
