Green card - EB3 process - please reply

    I am in H1 and current employer is processing green card through EB3.My labor is approved and 140 is going to be applied.I am planning to change company where new employer is sponsoring EB2. can i change employer now and get my labor PD dates or i should wait till 140 is approved for changing companies.please reply.

    jmohan, You need to wait for 6 months from applying 140 to change companies. Simply becoz then legally you can port the same PD to your new EB2 green card. It gives you an earlier PD and chances of approval sooner.On the other hand the other company can apply for your EB2 labor even without you being employed by them. GC is for future job so if you have good relations with them, convince them to do that. It might just work. Good Luck.
