Hi I am new to Delhi. I would like a bit of shopping guide - where do I get the best deals on garments, jewellery etc. For starters, I would like to know about where to get the best fish in Delhi?
Dear Shabnam Welcome to Delhi. You have not indicated your present place of residence. Many localities have their own fish markets. The INA market near the Safdarjung Airport flyover is famous for its fish market and many diplomats can be seen shopping for fish there. In South Delhi, of course the DDA Market No. I & II in Chittaranjan Park are famous for their fish. Both sea fish and fresh water fish is available here. Though the price is a bit high, the quality of fish is uniformly good. Almost all varieties from Rohu, Katla, Pomfret to Hilsa and Shrimp are available.
