    Google Doodle is celebrating Holi! The Google Doodles home page (Holi 2018 ) says the Holi doodle's reach is India, USA, UK, Canada and Estonia. But, I checked the google page of a few other random countries like Africa, Belgium and Japan, and their google page shows the Holi doodle.

    The "G"s in this doodle are quite mangled !!

    Lakshmi Narayan Singh     (16 October 1944 – 28 July 2016),[1] known professionally as Lachhu Maharaj, was an Indian tabla player of Benaras gharana.[2]

    Maharaj was born on 16 October 1944 to Vausdev Narayan Singh.[1] His sister Nirmala was the mother of actor Govinda.[3] He married a French woman Teena, and they had a daughter, Narayani.[3]

    Along with his professional tabla performances all over the world, he was featured in films.[4] He was nominated for the Padma Shri, but refused to accept it. He felt the appreciation of his audience was enough of an honour.[3][5]
