Even I used to think that Lakme will be good but once I saw their work on a bride done in front of me and was totally vexed.

It is a very expensive option no doubt, but on second thoughts, I am convinced. I have chosen Anushka on G.N.Chetty Road. The Makeup and Hairstyle would cost me Rs.8000 for one occasion. But, I am fully satisfied with their airbrush makeup method. Something done only in a select few salons in Chennai. This ensures a smooth finish and doesn't clog your pores. I went for a trial and am fully satisfied. Just wanted to let you know, please be careful in choosing the salon. It is your day and there can't be room for screwups. When is your wedding by the way? Also could you let me know if you have chosen your mehendi specialist? If yes, who is it?

However, there is a beauty parlor apposite to the mandap and they have experience in doing the whole package from mehandi to set jewels to draping saree so have given advance to them. Will go for trial make up on April 16th only. Will check with them about airbrush. I will get the name and number by tomorrow. I'm glad you found one you liked. that is very important.

Good beauty parlour for kids in Velachery Hi Illites, I would like to know if there is any gud beauty parlour in Velachery for kids as i would like to get a hair cut for my 4 and a half year old daughter. Re: Makeup, Hairstyle for wedding in Chennai..Please help I just got married two months ago and I would recommend Grace and Glamour in Anna Nagar...except I think they are really pricey...I would shop around for prices and haggle a bit---no shame in doing that. I would NOT recommend their Orchid hair arrangement which was something I paid Rs. 600 for but was not worth it at all. Also I was not happy with the fact that they did not have ANY samples to show me of their work and this was totally based on a relatives recommendation. In the end it worked out for for me for 3 of the 4 events I had her - including a very early morning muhurtam. The only thing which was not good was the reception where I was delayed and she was in a hurry to go somewhere therefore got pissed with me and botched up my face a bit. I know that sounds negative but it really was a great job for the other three events which is why I recommend her.

Re: Need a good bridal makeup artist in chennai Sorry guys for not updating this post any sooner. I got my makeup for reception done at Jawed Habib and for marriage at Lakme. I'd suggest lakme (Annanagar is where I got mine done). It's a bit over-priced but service is good. Regards, Monica
