    Go green (with fruits)
I used half a green apple, one kiwi, few grapes and few mint leaves.
    I skipped salad dressing/honey

Wondering - you usually have pomegranate handy? I don't get it 'cause such a hassle to get the seeds out.

Nice color themed salads. Good ones to serve to guests who are staying a few days.

@Rihana: most grocery stores sell ready to eat pomegranate seeds in small plastic packs. They keep well for a few days as long as they look fresh at the time of purchase.

So, it is ok to ask salad related queries?

What is the easiest way to add chicken to salad at home? What is the healthiest "store bought and minimal prep needed at home" option?

My favorite is an aragula salad but that isnt available in India easily. Infact in india I dont eat any leafy greens until i have cooked it - which means it ceases to be a salad.

But i do love this carrot salad we make at home - grate delhi carrots, cucumber and add some tadka of green chillies and mustard seeds. Finally garnish with fresh lemon and coriander.

Makes an excellent substitute for veggie curry if you didnt make any.

I add sprouted raw whole moong or cooked channa (black or white) with it for protein

Apart from that I make salad with
Romaine lettuce cucumbers avacado carrots raw mangoes tomatoes yellow squash cilantro handful of raw soaked peanuts and toss with any lite vinegar dressing or make my own ( 1tbsp of olive oil with 1tsp lemon juice salt and pepper). Sometimes will add in roasted almonds walnuts cranberries (dried/sweetened).

Crunchy Avocado Salad - I really like this recipe! Avocados are so nutritious and the crunch is nice. :)
