Does anyone know of a reliable software or other mechanism that can track browser history on a Windows computer? Should provide an app or admin panel to remotely view browser history of past day, week and so on. If also shows search history, great.

Looking for names of actual product or mechanism that can track online history, and that you know to be reliable from personal use or from reliable reviews, not general suggestion on what type of products might do this.

    Thank you.

I searched a bit, but not sure which are reliable and won't send information to continents that Palin could see from her house.

Poor Palin never really said that as much as Sherlock Holmes never said "Elementary....".

I haven't used any specialized tools so can't recommend names but you might not need an off-the-shelf application to monitor Internet activity. All routers these days have a logging feature which can be enabled from the router's admin page. All traffic through every device connected to your home network will be saved to a log file. If your router is password protected then child cannot tamper with log files. You can even block websites that you don't want the kid to visit. Of course then they would be blocked for everyone on the network. The downside to this scheme is that depending on the brand and age of your router the log files could be difficult to read. In some cases only IP addresses are saved; Others might include a readable URL. You would need to install a log file reader to convert the IPs to plain English.

Here's is a somewhat unfortunately titled article which goes over nearly everything you'll need to know: Spy On Your Kids Using Your Wireless Router [Free Parental Controls]

They could have said protect your kids using....

Maybe after you do suitable penance for deleting the recipe threads. I saw the pictures and then checked again after some time to see if recipes posted, especially the shredded fish one. Nope.. kitchen clean, darwaza bandh. Door closed.

To compensate: 'kitchen clean, darwaza bandh. Door closed.'

A sticky version of the pulav (like the Italian paella) is making waves in Southern India. It is known by different names in AP, Kerala and TN. I tried just now. Sticky means not gooey. But slight mush rather than fluffy of the common pulav.

Most important step: Make your own goldie goldu ghee for pulav, no market confusion. Nothing special, just melted butter and turned it off on right color.

    Then ..

I never strictly measure or endure rigid steps. I just play by the hands and intuition, stir this, sprinkle this, (then break into some dance playing on the laptop) and pull something from the cupboard and throw it in the pan (then dance some more in my kitchen with loud music), so, it is difficult for me to recall what went in the dish and what song I was dancing to also. Hence recipes are missing for my indulgence. But the usual ginger, garlic, cinnamon, cumin, mint, cloves. Egg fried in ghee with turmeric, salt and chilly powder. I never have recipes to be frank. My family still does not believe that I can cook. You and cook?

    Then tada .. (eat!)
