I have enquired a couple of playgroups for my 1.5 yrs kid. But most of them are very expensive and they pay very less for the tutors. My opinion is you can better start on ur own.

Iam a 36yr old chennaaite who might be moving to frankfurt sometime next year...
i have a nine year old who is currently in the primary environment in a montessory school here in chennai....there are lots of questions in my mind...and worries..mostly concerning my son's education...iam aware that school starts in september in germany...but how easy /difficult it is for admissions..when do i have to apply..any suggestions/advises ...

How are you all? Well let me introduce myself..Here I go.. I am Shashi and am a software engineer by profession. I moved to Frankfurt last month with my husband Raj and my daughter Rashika. I am put up in Goldstein area (Schuttenhelmweg). I would like to know if there is anyone staying in near by areas, so that we can meet sometime.

My parents are here with us on a visit. I am planning to send them to Swiss on a trip from Frankfurt. Can anyone please let me know if there is any trip packages from Frankfurt to Swiss? Preferably Indian travel agencies in Frankfurt. My father cant walk for long distances, so I would like to know if there are any assistances like wheel chair etc.. provided.


I am planning to send them in August 3rd-4th week.

By now, I'm sure you have made some acquaintances. If not, do not fret, it is winter and a severe winter at that. So probably people have stayed indoors. However, give yourself sometime, go to a library nearby or a grocery store specialising in Indian stuff and you are bound to meet people.

In the meanwhile here at Indusladies, do go through the several forums of your interests and soon you will have friends in IL.
