Food packing ideas to child for working women

I am also running out of idesa...
Daily Dal with some veggies.
Need to think innovatively to induce their taste buds.
Lets expect more ideas from experienced moms here.

 

Try to concentrate more on the varied food groups like, include one serving of fruit, once serving of veggies (carrot sticks, beans, chopped potatoes etc), one serving of protien (meat, dals etc), carbs and dairy (yogurt, milk, cheese etc).

 

My 3 year old DD goes to day care and I pack 3 meals - mid-morning snack, afternoon lunch and evening snack.
For morning snack, I usually give one of these - chopped apples, grapes, mini-idlis, mini- veg oothappams
For lunch, it's either rice+veg+curd or parathas+curd or chapati+gravy+curd or lemon rice+curd rice
For evening snack, I pack a fruit (usually bananas/pomegranates/strawberries), some dry fruits (dates/raisins) and some biscuits. Occasionally home baked muffin/cake slice.
