@vidukarth I found this nendran podi in ambika appalam stores. I am sure it would be available in all supermarkets.

    Hope this helps.

increase fat intake of child but not more than 20% of total food consumption. give her sweets. feed her frequently.

we can give different fatty food but assimilation and digestion is something which is inherent. i used to feed a variety of foods but she was never over 10% of weight and 25% of height. She is healthy and strong. touchwood. she was chubby but her weight never looked good chart and still doesnt. Just keep on giving healthy food. It is important that they build immunity, dont fall sick often and their bones and teeth are strong. milk, eggs, fruits, veg all are good. For snacks we can make kersari/sheera,etc with ghee and milk to increase weight. you can make it a little bit loose for so that they dont choke. they say the more you wait to introduce a food the lesser they develop allergies to it. this is true since i have seen moms complaining that their children are allergic to eggs even after they grow up since they started it too soon when babies. So be sure of what you are starting. give them easy to digest food.

Hi, I used to do the same for my son. I also used to add ghee to the rice. Its good for their brain development. Also boil fruits, mash and feed her. Mashed banana and sweet potatoes are good options. Give her yogurt too. Check out this link for more recipes for more ideas. If you are introducing new foods, start with one, continue for couple of days and then go for the next new item. Hope this helps.

    Hi,

1.Put almonds in the oats while cooking at the end. It would become soft.
2.I give my DD hard boiled egg. Egg should be completely cooked for babies. My daughter likes only when boiled. so i give her that. You can try giving omlette also. But make sure the egg is cooked completely.
3.You can use ragi powder also. My mother actualy make ragi powder for me. I cooked that in milk.

    Sorry for delayed reply.

    Hi Thejasree,

    I forgot to include this,

I give her both egg white and yolk as per doctor's advice.
